This first shot shows the Phoenix just as the motor is lighting. It's kind of sad realizing the doom that this rocket is about to incur.

Then disaster strikes. You can clearly see the motor case flying away from the blast deflector. By reading the lable in the picture, it looks like an Estes D12 from the infamous lot number 29Z12.

After I brought this picture into my photo editor and played with the tone balance I could see much more of the disaster as it occurred. I liked the picture so much that I had to post it here also.
